Our clinic-based program strives to work on individualized goals across language, social, and adaptive skills. Instruction will take place primarily within the context of play and will include tabletop learning when needed. Our clinic-based ABA treatment program also allows us to provide opportunities for social interactions, following schedules, and group responding to build a school readiness foundation.

    Erica Bustos

    Erica Bustos, MA, BCBA
    Director of Clinical Services

    Erica began working 1:1 with children on the Autism Spectrum in 2000. She graduated from the University of the Pacific in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Erica subsequently earned a Master of Arts degree in Psychology from Golden Gate University in 2004. Shortly thereafter, Erica was promoted to the position of Case Supervisor in 2004 and began to oversee the implementation of individualized ABA treatment programs for children diagnosed with Autism. She later worked as a Special Education Supervisor for Cupertino School District from 2008-2016 and also received her certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in 2012.

    Erica joined the AGES team in 2017. She is currently working in the role of Co-Clinical Director and oversees the regions of San Jose, Santa Clara and Gilroy. Erica is fluent in Spanish and is passionate about ensuring that high quality ABA treatment services are equally accessible to all families, regardless of the primary language spoken in their homes.

    Patricia X. Nishan, MA, BCBA
    Clinic Manager

    Patricia Nishan discovered her passion for Applied Behavior Analysis in 2011, starting her career as a Behavior Intervention Coach. She holds a Master of Arts in Exceptional Student Education (Comprehensive ABA) from the University of West Florida and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Patricia joined the AGES team in 2024 and currently serves as the Clinic Manager, overseeing services provided in the San Jose region.

    Patricia is dedicated to collaborating with families and professionals to ensure cohesive and continuous care across various settings. She emphasizes the importance of individualized intervention plans, which are tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Patricia is known for her commitment to evidence-based practices and her ability to foster positive outcomes through consistent and structured behavioral strategies.

    Outside of her work, Patricia enjoys staying updated with the latest research in Applied Behavior Analysis and attending conferences. She is passionate about continuous learning and professional development, always striving to bring innovative and effective solutions to her practice.
