As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at AGES Learning Solutions, you’ll be a vital part of our team, guiding the development and execution of personalized behavior intervention plans. You will assess client needs, manage behavior technicians, and oversee interventions aimed at skill acquisition and reducing problem behaviors. In this position, you will provide support to our clients both at our Livermore Clinic and throughout the Tri-Valley region in a hybrid capacity.

Job Responsibilities

Key Activities

  • Implementation of Behavior Plans: Implement behavior intervention plans developed by a BCBA or licensed professional to address challenging behaviors effectively. Teach various skills such as communication, social, adaptive, and independent living skills based on individualized treatment plans.
  • Direct Client Interaction: Work directly with clients to provide one-on-one therapy sessions aimed at teaching and reinforcing targeted skills, behaviors, and strategies. Implement crisis intervention strategies when necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of clients and others involved.
  • Data Collection and Behavior Analysis:  Accurately record and track behavioral data during sessions to analyze progress, identify trends, and adjust intervention strategies as necessary, in order to understand the root causes of behavior and inform treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including BCBA, therapists, educators, and caregivers, to ensure consistent and effective implementation of behavior support plans across different environments.
  • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated on best practices, new interventions, and regulations within the field.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Strong understanding of ABA principles and demonstrated experience in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and making data-driven decisions.
  • A valid driving license.
    • Assessment:

      • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
      • Conduct comprehensive skills assessments to evaluate the need for ABA services.
      • Perform functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify the causes of challenging behaviors and design positive behavior intervention plans (PBIPs).
      • Analyze data and monitor client progress to make informed adjustments to treatment plans.

        • Intervention:

          • Develop and implement individualized teaching programs and PBIPs based on client needs and goals.
          • Supervise and provide feedback to Behavior Technicians to ensure accurate delivery of intervention plans.
          • Collaborate with families and professionals to ensure cohesive and consistent interventions across home, school, and clinic settings.

            • Supervision and Leadership:

              • Provide ongoing supervision, support, and training to Behavior Technicians while upholding ethical and professional standards.
              • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support team development.
              • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and consultations to coordinate and optimize client care.

                • Case Management:

                  • Coordinate with insurance companies for assessment of services, treatment plan reviews, and service authorizations.
                  • Manage client and Behavior Technician schedules as necessary.
                  • Keep families and caregivers informed about client progress and program updates.

                    • Staff Training & Coaching:

                      • Provide initial and ongoing training for new hires and Behavior Technicians on ABA principles, intervention techniques, and session management.
                      • Deliver real-time feedback and guidance during sessions to Behavior Technicians.
                      • Create and maintain training materials to support staff development.
                      • Keep detailed records of team meetings, training activities, and performance evaluations.

                              • Demonstrate interest and commitment to the science of human behavior and the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.
                              • Knowledge of evidence-based treatment for individual with special needs.

                              Salary & Benefits

                              Salary
                              • Highly Competitive Pay ($90,000.00 to $100,000.00 Per Year) .

                              Compensation and Benefits Package:
