Annie Titus, 26, of Buffalo, New York, has found her passion — and purpose — in life: singing.

Titus has autism, and until two years ago was unsure what her path would be. Always interested in music, her mother enrolled her in weekly voice lessons at the Community Music School in Buffalo.

Titus’ instructor, Maria Lindsey, was blown away by her talent.

“I was astounded,” her teacher Maria Lindsey tolkd WKBW. “I was convinced that she had been taking lessons for a long time.”

The first time Titus’ family heard her perform was at a recital in June.
“On the second line I just burst into tears,” her mother told WKBW. “Shoulder-shaking crying.”
